Duties included: set up processes for newly started component repair/certification. Processes include: research part information, reply to request for quotes, entering part information in various data systems/files, intake of parts, purchase materials to complete work, purchase supplies/tools to run the shop, track materials for work, communicate to customer about the cost/progress of their order, finalize paperwork for part, invoicing for work, return material authorization.Much of the above work was done using the E2 system, but also required me to design add-on Microsoft Access databases.

Work Controller Oct 2000 – Apr 2001. Duties included: issue, track, process and archive paperwork pertaining to un/scheduled maintenance of the fleet on various shifts.Staff Asst. Apr 2001 – Jul 2006. Duties are the same as when I was working under the Work Controller title.Additionally, I was asked to create and maintain a database (SPAARS) to replace HOSS. I was given a head start on the database by working with the Production Control department at AFW. After implementing the database and getting feedback from the users, it was determined a rewrite was in order. Under the Continuous Improvement edict, a 2nd rewrite was completed to link the various fields that are unique to it with the SMAARTS application. This eliminated a lot of duplicate work.To accomplish the above I worked with Teradata and various other resources to collect data. Using the many software packages available to AA employees, I work with the collected data to provide reports and files to different departments within the company and 3rd party customers.Maintenance Process Planner. Duties included: design, develop, test and maintain PC based systems that provide data collection and analysis for forecasting, tracking and performance measurements for M&E Aircraft Overhaul and Component Maintenance as well as 3rd party contract work. Plan and design projects and workflow processes and maintain flowcharts. Support end-user requirements with system development, workflow and reporting projects. Produce daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports based on data collection and analysis. Coordinate with other departments for gathering and reporting data for monthly Product Team presentations. Design and prepare documentation of departmental procedures and training aids. Participate in daily production meetings. Support department management with ad hoc reports, data mining and research, data analysis and presentation preparation. Also, any other miscellaneous project work as assigned.
