I am co-founder and CEO of the company Random Walk Imaging (RWI), based in Lund, Sweden. At RWI, I am responsible for coordination of internal and external development projects, and I oversee our overall strategy.My background is within Physical Chemistry, and I have now over 15 years’ experience working with life science companies and within the field of advanced diffusion MRI. The origins of RWI all goes back to the Physical Chemistry and my genuine interest in science and medical imaging. The company I co-founded is developing a novel proprietary approach to diffusion MRI, enabling clinical researchers and radiologists to better visualize and analyze diffusion MRI data. These new approaches has the potential to non-invasively differentiate pathologies affected by changes in tissue microstructure. Early on, our innovative approached sparked great interest, and I am very proud to say that we have been awarded both the Skåne Innovation Prize as well as the SKAPA Foundation Prize in memory of Alfred Nobel.

CeoCr Development 2008 - Aug 2019Within CR Development, a subsidiary of Colloidal Resource the development of new methods using nuclear magnetic resonance are developed and investigated. The objective of CR Development is to supply producers of MRI instruments (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) with new pulse sequences and analysis methods designed to meet clinical needs. MRI instruments are used at hospitals to scan patients and obtain images with valuable information.The methods developed by CR Development are intended for studies in-vivo. By a unique and patented design of the pulse sequence pathological conditions can be accessed without the use of added contrast agent.

CeoColloidal Resource Ab 2005 - 2008Colloidal Resource was founded the late summer of 2005. Karin Bryskhe and Anna Stenstam had recently recieved their Doctorate degrees from the departement of Physical Chemistry 1 at Lund Universtity, a department with the very best renommé both nationally and internationally. The years at Chemical Centre had trained them in both traditional as well as nano chemistry (colloid chemistry) that has recieved lot of attention the last years.It was obvious for them both that with the starting point in chemistry many solutions can be found to problems faced by product developers in various companies. Moreover, with a good plan only a few conformational tests are needed and in academia there are many instruments that can be of use for more parties. The possibility that through science and good relations with Lund University work with the scientific world as a base – for companies with real product development was the fundament for Colloidal Resource and the two subsidairies.
