In my current role with the ANMF (SA Branch) I am able to advocate for my nursing colleagues still working in a clinical setting. I have a passion for ensuring fairness and justice and will strive to ensure members get the best of me that I can give. I also have a passion for clinical education and recently had a role as a Clinical Educator for a Phase One drug trial company. As well as providing education for clinical and non clinical staff, I was solely responsible for designing, setting up running realistic Advanced Life Support scenarios for nursing and medical staff. As well as being an Australian Resuscitation Council accredited Advanced Life Support Instructor, I will be finishing of a Post Grad Cert in Clinical Education this year. I have also passed ARC ALS 2 recently. I am an experienced Critical Care Clinical Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Post Anesthesia Care, Patient Advocacy, Nursing Education, Central Lines, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP). Experienced ECMO nurse. Strong healthcare services professional with a Post grad cert focused in Critical Care Nursing from Flinders University.I have also worked in PACU with adults and paediatrics, with a focus on ENT, ortho and neuro.
