Back to working for a real estate company, both working early in the process and with maintenance, tenant requests and development within the company.As a business developer for commercial buildings I have been responsible for elderly care units. From start to finish, being part of the process during contracts with tenants and production to handing over to new owners and new tenants.I have worked as a Project Manager for a commercial real estate company.This means being in constant contact with the Real Estate Manager/Vendors/Tenants to get work done. I have been responsible for estimating, tender documents, quotations and procurement of the work. Also in charge of building contractors and /or subcontractors to do the work as quick and effective as possible with the absolute best outcome when it comes to time and money.In my role as the Project Manager I get to run the projects from start to finish and enjoy getting everyone involved and working towards the same goal. I enjoy being the leading person making people do the little extra in order for the team to succeed to the goal.I have been lucky to work with companies in all kinds of branches and doing that gives me an understanding of the clients specific needs during construction and what their expectations are on the finished product.Before working as a Project Manager I experienced the side of being a contractor as a Project Engineer. Working for both small and big companies gives you an understanding of the huge differences that this means, both positive and negative, depending on the different projects. In my role, both as Project Manager and as a Project Engineer I have worked with Health and Safety and Quality Assurance making this a priority when it comes to the people around us,and the finished product we are striving towards.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to learn new things.
