My intrinsic enthusiasm and drive push me to thrive in a range of environments, especially when solving scientifically challenging problems and turning Science into a content that connects with public. My most recent professional activities have supported my career progression into a consultant in Research & Development and Associate Professor with expertise in Tissue Engineering/Regenerative Medicine, Inflammation Research and Cell Biology, with an emphasis on Product Development and securing Intellectual Property (with 4 patents in the field). A complimentary and equally as important role that I enjoy is mentoring/ supervising students and young professionals both nationally and internationally through scientific exchange programmes, which provides me an enormous satisfaction.
