In September 2021, I started an M4C Collaborative Doctoral Award - 'Everything to Everybody?: A Critical History of the World's Premier Public Shakespeare Library'. Changing roles from staff to student at the Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham; working with the Library of Birmingham's fantastic Shakespeare Collection and the staff involved in the E2E project. https://everythingtoeverybody.bham.ac.ukCurrently Project Manager of '11/401 E2E The School of Night', a two-day Shakespeare improvisation festival to promote the above mentioned Shakespeare Collection. This event follows the successful '10/400 Into the Shakespeare Verse' which I project managed in 2023. This Library takeover day was funded by the University of Birmingham.https://www.e2eschoolofnight.com/I have been a contributor to published works on the history of the performance of Shakespeare and other Renaissance playwrights for major publishers, including Palgrave Macmillan, Bloomsbury and Cambridge University Press. I have also had a chapter published on the films of Guillermo del Toro for a publication by McFarland Books.In 2022, I directed and edited a film funded by Coventry City of Culture for the University of Coventry. I have also worked with Digital Performance Artists, Kris and Davy McGuire on an augmented reality version of Dracula. Currently developing two scripts into short films: No Man's Land and The Forest with a talented UK team of collaborators, including Kristin McGuire, Oliver Senton and Kim Halliday. I have a script-writing portfolio of two feature length scripts and four short films. Features: Little Lamb Who Made Thee (a sequel to the story of Frankenstein); and The Ration Ticket (an absurd, political romantic comedy).Previous to my PhD, I was a Librarian and Archivist with over twenty years experience in specialist libraries with amazing collections at The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Shakespeare Institute. MA in English Literature and Language and Post Grad Diploma in Librarianship and Information Studies. Trustee of the British Shakespeare Association, 2017-19; Co-Chair of APAC (Association of Performing Arts Collections), 2014-2017.
