I am the former owner of Karin Weber Gallery in Hong Kong, and have been active in the art business since 1999. In March 2014 I moved to Berlin, Germany and work as a non executive director with the Gallery. My work invoves sourcing new artists from Germany and Europe for the Gallery and finding venues for Asian artists in Germany/Europe. Work is my passion, and passion is my work. I am also a board member of the German Art House ROTGOLDSCHWARZ http://www.grs-arthouse.com/In 2012 I was involved in forming the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association and served as joint Co-President.

The Hong Kong office was responsible for merchandising, overseeing production in factories based in Asia, North Africa, Turkey, with inline and final quality control to distribution to over 25 countriesworldwide. I learned that the garment industry is a very tough industry, but I also learned about China production and officialdom.
