Working within the European Cluster Assimilation Technology (ECLAT) and J-CAT projects

Thesis entitled On the Formation and Structure of the Ionosphere of Titan.The thesis is based on Cassini data, in particular from the Langmuir Probe (LP). Thesis work included data analysis, studies of Titan's ionospheric structure and currents flowing within the ionosphere. Heavy negative ion abundances were investigated.My teaching experience includes leading a summer course in Space science and space technology (A-level), and giving lectures in Space Physics II (D-level) and The space environment (D-level).

Funded by a Marie Curie fellowship, I spent nine months as a visiting scholar in the Radio and Space Plasma Physics Group at Leicester University, UK. During this time I conducted a multi-instrumental study including the radio and plasma wave science, magnetometer and electron spectrometer instruments. The study lead to the first publication on ionospheric currents at Titan based on Cassini measurements.
