I offer twenty years of experience (17 as an educator) teaching various content areas, working with families, children, and diverse communities and in various leadership capacities, making me a strong leader. I am confident that I can succeed in various positions while bringing a unique perspective and unequaled passion. I desire to continue to grow in my leadership skills and education to bring as much positive change and passion back to the field of education. Technology integration in my instruction while also coaching and encouraging others to be innovative in their approach is a passion and major focus of mine. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of having classrooms, students, and families in California, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia. These experiences have exposed me to many schools of thought, instructional strategies, and trends that have shaped my educational practices and pedagogy.As a part-time faculty instructor at the University of North Georgia and a science lab teacher at the Cherokee County School District, I have over 20 years of experience in the field of education, teaching various content areas, working with diverse communities, and leading in various capacities. I have a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction, an ESOL endorsement, and a leadership endorsement, which reflect my passion for continuous learning and professional development.My core competencies include curriculum design, technology integration, leadership, coaching, and mentoring. I have created and designed innovative curriculum, activities, books, and games for students to apply new knowledge, and I have been a ghostwriter for one of the top sellers on TPT. I have also integrated technology in my instruction while coaching and encouraging others to be innovative in their approach. Additionally, I have cultivated a climate of trust, respect, engagement, and safety in my classrooms and schools. I have also built and maintained positive relationships with faculty, parents, and other stakeholders. My mission is to bring as much positive change and passion back to the field of education and to support the vision and goals of my current institutions.
