• Complex Contract Expertise: Serves as the recognized senior lawyer for handling more complex contracts and legal issues, primarily supporting Sales and revenue generation. • Lead on Customer Contracts: Takes the lead on complex customer contracts, including those involving Enterprise and non-Optimizely paper, by leveraging legal expertise and deal experience. This role ensures high-quality outcomes and supports Sales in closing customer contracts efficiently. • Simplification Initiatives: Actively involved in simplification efforts within the Legal department and across Optimizely, leading specific initiatives to streamline operations. • Data Privacy Expertise: Develops expertise in regional personal data privacy to support DPA negotiations and other related initiatives. • Specialist Legal Areas: Fosters development in specialist areas within the Legal domain to enhance departmental expertise. • Product Suite Knowledge: Possesses strong knowledge of Optimizely’s product suite, demonstrating both functional and technical understanding. • Legal Support Leadership: Leads an assigned non-revenue area of legal support, contributing significantly to the Legal department. • Cross-functional Contribution: Engages in cross-functional projects, effectively resolving complex issues and contributing to strategic projects within Legal. • Stakeholder Relationships: Continuously develops strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers. • Negotiation and Drafting: Exhibits highly effective contract negotiation and drafting skills, supporting the closure of deals with expertise. • Teamwork and Independence: Works independently while being an effective team player. • Communication: Communicates timely and clearly, conveying processes and policies respectfully and providing constructive feedback when necessary. • Mentorship: Acts as a role model for junior counsel, exemplifying professional conduct and expertise.

* Provide legal advice to the Company including to the following departments: Sales, Finance, Procurement, Customer Success, DPO, Compliance, Partnerships & Alliances and HR. * Legal point to the Sales team to negotiate and close customers deals under specific deadlines.* Review and Draft of SaaS contracts and working knowledge of US/EU privacy laws.*Protect the Company interest under tight deadlines within a customer-facing revenue company.* Minimize liability exposure by advising on appropriate policies, practices, procedures and contracts.
