Gathered requirements from different customers, identifying goals and their needs. Responsible for planning and organizing different tasks and keeping the website redesign project on schedule. Delivered a mobile-friendly responsive web design. • Redesigned and completely revamped the NASA’s Hydrospheric and Biospheric Sciences Support Services websites for MODIS and VIIRS instruments using Drupal7 Content Management System. Developed new web applications for the visualization of data availability for MODIS and VIIRS instruments supporting scientists in their projects. Ensured websites comply with 508 standards.• Developed a single sign-on custom module for the MCST’s website to integrate with NASA’s LaunchPad authentication system.• Set up configuration management system with Git for source control and use the Features module for the database configuration control.• Analyzed, designed, created and managed a new MySQL database for storing over 10 years of data for MODIS instruments on Terra and Aqua satellites.• Developed a new plotting tool for visualizing MODIS data using using PHP, JPGraphs, MySQL and AJAX technology with JQuery.• Migrated information from custom website to a newly created Drupal site writing different Python scripts for data ingest.• Applied security patches, and updates to to the new CMS website when needed using drush.• Created custom Drupal modules to consume NASA’s MODAPS RESTful web services and bring the information to the Drupal website

Designed and developed software for client/server applications for web site, automatic data quality and configuration maintenance of weather stations at the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) supporting weather and ocean data analysts in their daily tasks. Programmed using PHP, Perl, MySQL, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery for both GUI and systems development. Ensured the NDBC websites comply with 508 standards.
