My name is Carmen Marina Gómez, but nobody calls me that!I’m a master’s graduate of Graphic Design and Illustration with a Fine Arts background.My artistic journey began in high school. Driven by my passion for drawing and painting, I enrolled in the beautiful Art School of Almería (my little town in southern Spain). Next, I studied video production before finally undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the University of Málaga.Beyond Art, I have a passion for languages and travel. This would dictate the coming years of my life.Once finished my bachelor's I moved to Germany. There, I completed an intensive B1 course and had the opportunity to practice the language while working in a team environment.Upon returning to Spain, I began working in customer support helping international clients from all over Europe & North Africa. This role would demand strong communication skills within a cross functional team, combined with a keen ability to process feedback and develop solutions.My next goals would be to perfect my English while learning the craft of Graphic Design & Illustration. I achieved this in Ireland while working in childcare & taking my studies online. Time management & multitasking would be key during this period of my life.Although my professional and personal experiences were not always related to my studies, they were crucial in building my character as a determined worker with a "can do" attitude. I have recently relocated to Zûrich, Switzerland. Here, I hope to fully realize my long-term goal of working as a professional graphic / creative designer.
