Passion.-- A word uniquely different to each person. And my defining characteristic of passion, food and service, has taken me farther than I could ever have imagined. Throughout my many experiences of volunteer work within care facilities, caretaking, and the food industry, I've come to realize just how meaningful service is in every day life and personal development, but also how critical it is to my own definition of passion. Food is not only something to be eaten, but also enjoyed, and I believe that a sentiment towards it, be it the person that made it, an experience you had relating to it, and/or a predisposition you may have of the food that gives food (and making food) meaningful. This is where I come in. Through my creation of food, I strive to serve others such that it brings them happiness, and I search for further knowledge in order to further accommodate those who are on the receiving end of my food-making. Plus, expanding my culinary knowledge is also a fascinating subject that I feel enriches my life as it helps me to learn how to appreciate food on a deeper level, and also gives me more insight into the cultures (which is also a passion of mine to explore) that the foods originated from. Undoubtedly, food is a passion of mine, and that of many others, and through this shared passion, I've been able to gain a better understanding working within the food industry that I also hope to someday open my own business within.
