Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills led to position as Project Coordinator and Facilitator on the Virginia Historical Society – Battle Abbey Renovation and Addition, where I worked closely with the Architects, various Trades and General Contractor, Henry Taylor of Taylor and Parrish, Inc (who became a lifelong friend). My contributions, helped facilitate the project moving forward, assisted with construction related issues being resolved and the project being completed on time. This was essential, as the project had previously been stalled due to issues that arose during construction due to contract document issues. In addition to this, I provided project coordination and drafting support on numerous large commercial and institutional projects during this time for General Contractors and Fire Protection Professionals. ** Note: I have a lovely written recommendation from Bland Wade of SMBW Architects who was the architect on this project along with the great and late Jim Glave' who were the project architects on this monumental renovation and addition.
