As a Sales and Marketing Manager, I've enjoyed over 7 years managing various social and corporate events from start to finish, such as weddings, TV production shoots, concerts, school events, virtual events, fashion shows, music festivals, fundraiser, black-tie galas, grand openings, Christmas launch, media events, trade shows, auctions and banquets.I believe my wealth of experience with events as a planner, combined with my abilities as a superior communicator would make me a valuable asset with a prestigious company as a well-rounded and "take-charge" employee.By far, my greatest strength is the passion and dedication I have for making people happy and create unforgetable memories. However, as the world changes, it’s time for me to move on from the hospitality industry and would like to spend the next phase of my career for a company that puts their client first and strive for the best. All the years I've worked gave me an excellent insight into the ins-and-outs of many fields. This is what actually inspired me to make the move. I'm excited to zero in on a particular product that I can be an expert on rather than multiple roles. Some of my existing talents are: use of Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Cvent and CaterEase. LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP BUILDINGOne of the great things in sales/marketing in the events sector was the ability to build long-term business relationships with clients. I've attended in-person and remote networking opportunities through events and maintain positive experience even in the most difficult of negotiations. GRIT AND DETERMINATIONComing out of a fast-paced and multi-faceted industry, I had to build-up my stamina for dealing with rapid changes, last minute situations and disappointments daily while managing different tasks. While I'm sad to be moving away from this fun, unpredictable nature of the hospitality industry, I bring with me a high-level of motivation and determination to figure out any challenge that is thrown at me which is useful in the current world.
