Karin Aure, Ed.D. Email and Phone Number
In the field of education, I have worked as a teacher, administrator, professor, and board member. The breadth and depth of my experience provide a foundational and integrated understanding of Education that informs my work. I seek organizations with a strong mission and collaborative teams dedicated to improving communities. I have worked and studied in the U.S. and overseas, at the TK-12 and university level, in private and public systems, as well as charter and non-charter schools. I have assisted in or led the development and authorization of two charter elementary schools, including serving as the founding principal of a K-8 charter school emphasizing student-centered learning and global competencies. As an administrator, I have served as the Director of Research and Evaluation for 9 years and am now in my 9th year as a principal. Research experience includes completing a dissertation on the cross-cultural experiences of students new to the U.S. and serving as a Fulbright Scholar in Sweden studying the cross-cultural experiences of immigrant youth. I am a relentless believer in making our world better through education.
