With over nine years of experience in electrochemistry, analytical, and inorganic chemistry, I am passionate about advancing the development and commercialization of groundbreaking technology solutions to help the world reach net-zero emissions by 2050. As a Breakthrough Energy Fellow and the Chief Technology Officer at RenewCO₂, I leverage my expertise in CO₂ conversion, catalyst design, and industrial scaling to create innovative products that can reduce emissions in one of the hardest-to-decarbonize sectors — chemical manufacturing. I am motivated by the mission and vision of RenewCO₂, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team and help build a collaborative and inclusive culture of excellence. In addition, I work with Anders Laursen and the RenewCO₂ team to develop a CO₂ conversion process with the support of the Breakthrough Energy Fellows program, which provides funding, mentorship, and education to the best and brightest innovators worldwide. The Breakthrough Energy Fellows program is part of the Breakthrough Energy network, founded by Bill Gates. At RenewCO₂, I co-lead the research and development of the core CO₂-to-monomers technology from the lab to the industrial scale. I contribute to designing and managing the development roadmap, including direction, partnerships, and strategy, and I use best scientific practices to explore technology options and generate intellectual property that increases the company's technical leadership in the marketplace. I also recruit and manage a talented and dedicated technical team and communicate technical directions with internal and external stakeholders.
