With over nine years of experience in electrochemistry, analytical, and inorganic chemistry, I am passionate about advancing the development and commercialization of groundbreaking technology solutions to help the world reach net-zero emissions by 2050. As a Breakthrough Energy Fellow and the Chief Technology Officer at RenewCO₂, I leverage my expertise in CO₂ conversion, catalyst design, and industrial scaling to create innovative products that can reduce emissions in one of the hardest-to-decarbonize sectors — chemical manufacturing. The Breakthrough Energy Fellows program is part of the Breakthrough Energy network, founded by Bill Gates.At RenewCO₂, I co-lead the research and development of the core CO₂-to-monomers technology from the lab to the industrial scale. I contribute to designing and managing the development roadmap, including direction, partnerships, and strategy, and I use best scientific practices to explore technology options and generate intellectual property that increases the company's technical leadership in the marketplace. I also recruit and manage a talented and dedicated technical team and communicate technical directions with internal and external stakeholders.
