Motivated by the love of sketching and drawing from a very young age, my art journey has led me in many directions in terms of subject, style & medium. Years of travelling, and the beauty in nature constantly inspire me. I'm also an avid photographer. I mostly sketch and paint in realism, but recently, wanting to push out in new directions, I joined a few online courses that have inspired more expressive, modern contemporary and playful pieces, largely based on imagination and more abstract concepts. In my early 20's I completed Drawing Skills, Illustration, Figure Drawing, and Cartooning courses at TAFE, NSW, as well as Folk Art, and Resin courses. Then life got in the way, as it often does, and art took a back seat for 25 years! In 2020 we sold up and moved out of Sydney up to the coastal town of Hallidays Point. Over the years I have cared for my Nan and my Mother in Law, who both had dementia. Then we recently lost my Dad to a heart attack in 2022, and I became Mum's full time caregiver until she passed away in Oct, 2023. Needless to say, it's been a challenging and exhausting time. It left me feeling broken and lost. Late one night, struggling in my grief, I picked up a pencil and started to sketch a Kingfisher, and I started to feel calmness in my soul and the joy of creating again. I soon enrolled into 2 online workshops and several art groups to learn to paint. I decided at age 52, after a 25 year hiatus, I was going to do Visual Arts for the rest of my life! I particularly enjoy painting in bright, bold colours, combining genres, exploring new subjects, and continually experimenting with different materials, which fuels my joy as I try to convey beauty in my artwork. Creating is a divine gift and talent, which confirms and professes our faith in our Father, the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I am excited and grateful to co-create with Him as He directs my path. I can't wait for what's to come!

As a Disability Carer with Linmar Travel, I take people with special needs on day trips and extended holidays; always showing them the care, dignity and respect they deserve, whilst giving them an experience of a lifetime travelling throughout Australia and overseas. This includes taking care of their personal needs, such as showering, toileting, dressing, feeding and administering medication. I am first aid certified and have been working with Linmar Travel since 2010, gaining invaluable on-the-job knowledge, training and experience.

- Managed the Business Centres at Ryde and Meadowbank TAFE and assisted the teachers in collating subject information in preparation for their classes. - Staff and student liaison and customer service. - Student bookings. - Preparing subject textbooks and training materials.

Overseeing debtor's accounts, Petty Cash, checking and balancing driver's run sheets and collecting client's cash payments upon return to the depot. Processing customer payments into the computer, posting credits and debits, liaising with customers over the phone, which involved debt collecting, customer orders and general account queries. Overseeing and training the Counter Sales staff and balancing the counter sales till each afternoon. Banking, filing, company shopping, and general office duties.

- Managing and balancing the payroll daily (casuals) and weekly. We paid four different divisions within the Kwikasair/TNT branch. - Cash handling - counting $120,000-$140,000 per day and dispersing into pay packets for each division. Eventually permanent employees were paid weekly by direct debit. - Pays were calculated manually, as well as processed through the in-house system (Paylink Bureau System). - Data was also maintained in the Timewise System (Electronic Time Recording). - Balancing and filing weekly payroll reports- General office duties, which included filing and phone enquiries. - During 1992 I was promoted to 2nd in charge and I was trained in all areas of payroll. May 1993-August 1993 I was asked to assist the Customer Service Department due to a staff shortage. Duties included:- Taking account enquiries over the phone and assisting fellow staff with the maintenance of the internal ledger system and general office duties. August 1993-July 1994 I was asked to assist the Data Entry and Docket Batching Departments at night from 4pm-9pm (after I'd worked 7am-3pm in the payroll office). Duties included:- Sorting and batching of all incoming freight dockets ready for coding. - Processing the freight dockets into the computer prior to invoicing. January 1990-March 1990 - TNT Central Mailing - Junior ClerkDuties included:- Sorting mail, collating, filing, letter folding and general office duties- I was promoted to assist the office manager, which included taking telephone enquiries, general office duties and assisting with the sorting of freight dockets prior to invoicing.
