Re:Plenish is a pop up style store located in South Edmonton. Opening in January 2020, Re:Plenish offers zero waste products and bulk refills of personal and home care products. Dedicated to the zero waste movement, it's a one stop store for organic, vegan and zero waste local products.

In my current position at the University of Victoria as a Digital Ethics Librarian Intern, I am researching the best practices for handling Indigenous cultural heritage materials in the archives. I am examining research protocols, template research agreements and data-sharing agreements created by Indigenous communities, as well as compiling a list of case studies of successful initiatives as evidence for the best practices in digitization, access policies, exhibits and description.

At the Information Desk, I answered reference and directional questions, I helped patrons with technology & training, I went on hourly roves, and provided patrons with reader’s advisory.As part of assisting with outreach, I both led and assisted hosting book clubs, I created book trailers, I set up displays and I created booklists.I assisted in collection management by weeding, by collecting data for selection, by discarding, and by assisting at subsequent book sales.I worked for the Adult Services department. As part of adult programming, I assisted in the Summer Reading Games. To promote digital literacy, I created and taught three digital literacy classes, and I assisted three others.

With a team member, I assisted the archivist with records inventory, preservation and arrangement of records as well as the description of records.I helped assist the archivist with archival research in order to answer reference inquiries. I watched webinars on the best archival practices including webinars on preservation, arrangement and description. I learned the digitization process of photographs with the use of programs such as Photoshop.

I integrated the electronic records into the existing archival file list spreadsheet according to a file classification system. I arranged and described over 400GB of electronic records.I created a policy for the record management of emails and proceeded to manage over 10,000 emails. I created a fonds level RAD description of WAM’s archives. I worked with minimal supervision under a former archivist and the president of WAM.I wrote a grant proposal and created a program plan on an eventual interactive exposition that will be implemented next summer.I created subject guides on archival practices for the museum visitors in both French and English.
