Responsible for development of all wellness initiatives and strategies.Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.Determines and executes appropriate recruiting and onboarding strategies; conducts new-employee orientations; develops and monitors talent management programs. Researches and evaluates training programs to determine needs, appropriate delivery and effectiveness for safety, OSHA and other assigned areas.Develops, prepares, generates, and analyzes ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to employee personnel information and data, including but not limited to issues such as benefit costs, staffing levels/deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, applicant tracking, compensation, promotions, etc. Effectively utilize the data processing system to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data and information. Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations’ issues.Manages organization’s safety efforts. Directs Workers’ Compensation program, investigates accidents, prepares reports and serves as liaison with service providers.Manages compensation strategies and job analysis, wage/salary reports and other data to determine competitive wage rates.
