I conceived the idea, developed the product line, specified the wireframes to the site developers, and launched the company in Summer 2000. I sold this property to Smith & Noble (a division of Cornerstone Brands) in September 2000 and this immediately put them into the custom rug business. Smith & Noble used learnings from Nature's Floor to launch their own line of custom rugs in 2001. In 2003, Nature's Floor was folded into the Smith & Noble product line.
