Prepare contract commitments for land developer using MS Excel and Word, and JD Edwards (Oracle).

Contract preparation (supplier purchase orders, consultant agreements, and construction contracts). Contracts prepared in MS Word, and related purchase documents in MS Excel. Entered contract data into JD Edwards/Oracle Enterprise One accounting system. Processed and tracked contract through the execution process (using MS Excel as a database tracking system). Reviewed final documents (including revisions to contracts if vendor required changes and reviewing these changes with legal). Other duties:Change order administration (to existing consultant agreements and construction contracts); contracts database administration (executed contracts scanned and added to Laserfiche document management program in an organized structure); verifying that suppliers, consultants and contractors had meet their insurance contractual requirements (and that this insurance remained up-to-date until project completion); training of new contract administrators; and other duties as assigned (mainly special projects per lender requests).

Report to Project Managers, Vice President and President of this residential housing developer. Write and review contracts and change orders for construction subcontractors. Report and letter preparation in multiple departments, mainly the purchasing section. Assist in budget preparation and review. Maintain all computers, software and backup tape. Assist with computer issues including creating forms, Access databases, and complex Excel worksheets (Originally this job was through PC Pros Temporaries in Los Angeles, California.)
