Based on a corporate communication strategy that I wrote for the Directorate Information policy of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports, I centralised communication activities into one central team. Currently, I am establishing external communications to position the ambitions of the directorate in the field and implementing communication strategies for EHDS and HDAB. For the latter, I setup and am leading a communication team with communication professionals from various partners.

I am responsible for the communication about the Information Council Healthcare (Informatieberaad Zorg). I am employed at the Dutch Ministery of Healthcare (Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport)

At EIT Digital, a European organisation for education, innovation and scale-up acceleration, I am responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategies for the corporate communication in the Dutch and Belgium market and for the education pillar in the pan-European market. With these activities, I am a sparring partner for the Chief Education Officer, the heads of the Master, Doctoral and Professional School, the CEO in the Netherlands and for the head of Communications.

In this centre of expertise for standardisation and eHealth, I have advised the management about strategic communication management. One of the communication goals was to make the organisation more communicative while following a thought leadership strategy. The execution is partly my responsibility. I was also responsible for the external communication, for branding Nictiz as well as the online magazine TrendITion in collaboration with a media partner.

Artsennet was a portal site of the Royal Medical Association (KNMG) in which more than 25 medical organisations hosted a website in the same content management system. I was responsible for the business plan, strategic communication management, brand management, customer management, customer acquisition, stakeholder engagement, technical support and the content on the portal site. I led a team of web editors, web managers and freelancers. I established a formidable brand reputation and a strong physicians community (Brand Ambassadorship). In 2010 Artsennet wins, together with Medisch Contact, the LOFprijs for professional information. I persuaded about hundred physicians, professors and politicians to write blogs on Artsennet, turning them into ambassadors of the Artsennet brand. I also installed the first app database in the Netherlands and together with a business partner, I invented and organised the Health app award 2012, 2013 and 2014

Alongside my photography work, I wrote about ten books about the Internet, Photo-editing, and e-commerce. My core business was writing. I wrote background articles, news items, and interviews with all kind of people, from CEO to entrepreneurs for:- ICT Magazines covering stories about new software, internet, innovation and technology, e-commerce and e-business. - business magazines stories about entrepreneurs, doing business- news papers- photo magazines- human interest magazines- commercial assignmentsAlongside the writing, I also took care of matching photography.Some of the titles of the magazines are: PC Active; Foto@beeld; Zibb.nl; Brisk Magazine; PCM, Bureau M; InfoWorld; DataNews; ComputerPartner; Netmagazine; RetailPartner; HEO-ICT.nl/Espelon; Tips & Trucs; ExpatPlus; Computer!Totaal; Emerce; Plus!; Viva; Viva&Co; Assurantie Magazine; Ouders van Nu; Bak en Bakker Journalisten c.s; Alkmaarsche Courant; IIsselstreek; Horeca-Entree; Bierblad (Heineken); Algemeen Dagblad | Utrechts Nieuwsblad; fotoscene.nl; DogMa; TNT Mail; Wolkenridders (KLM); Fotografie.nlFor the LOI I developed the course Writing for the Web and I published about nine books.

As editor at the newspaper, I was responsible for the choice which articles to present on which place in tomorrow's newspaper and how they would appear in collaboration with the photo editor and designer. I also made sure the articles were readable by proofreading and correcting the grammar and when needed shortened the articles. I also made catchy headlines.

HEO-ICT was a project of the Dutch Council for Higher Education. The goal of the project was to enrich the curricula of the economic programs of the Universities of Applied Science with future-oriented material. My responsibility was to get new course material on E-business in the curriculum. I, therefore, managed a project where I put together a company and teachers from different Universities to list requirements and develop the course. In so doing, I set up a community. I also organized events, seminars, and masterclasses. I was responsible for project management, planning and budget. The result was a new course called E-Business Begrepen that had been used in over ten universities.
