Over 20 years in developing target markets, managing pipelines and closing deals with large publicly traded consulting firms to start ups and everything in between. I’m motivated by 2 things: developing happy client relationships and figuring out the puzzle pieces. To me business development is more than just sales, its turning a transaction into a long term happy client relationship. It’s ensuring that the client has what they need to be successful and to shine in their role. It’s my job to understand what motivates them and what questions they need answered before they are willing to go to the next step of the process. It’s never about tricks or pushing a product or solution that may not fit their needs. My goal is to change the way sales is viewed – it’s simply a conversation between two people, one with a need and one with a solution to determine if, how and in what way we can find a successful outcome by working together to solve the problem. I’m a business owner, a wife, a Mom, a Sports Center junkie, an avid listener of audio books, a volunteer, a problem solver, an Idea Generator, a diehard Ravens fan, a rejoicing Orioles fan and a constant learner.
