About Kari Parkin

Teaching Philosophy - By building relationships with students and a community within our classroom, I hope to help students unlock their full potential and be engaged in their own learning. My goals include encouraging growth, not only as a student, but also as a person and fostering life-applicable skills, such as problem-solving and critical thinking, which students can carry with them beyond my classroom. I want my students to look back on our time together and remember me as a teacher who cared for their well-being, helped them grow a love for learning, and worked daily to develop the skills necessary to achieve their dreams.
