I recently transitioned back to the United States. I spent the last 12 years working in the International Elementary Education space, primarily teaching 3rd grade. During this time, I developed valuable skills. As an international educator, I worked within a variety of different cultures, collaborated on diverse teams, made and adjusted to last minute decisions, quickly learned how to work within each new school culture or grade level, consistently met deadlines, and developed strong communication skills. I was also frequently put into leadership positions such as Head of English Department at Colegio Alberto Einstein. However, my most important job was to meet each and every student where they were and figure out how to keep them engaged and reach their fullest potential for that school year. My passion is promoting literacy and equipping others to be successful in their endeavors, both professionally and personally. I am looking to combine these skills and my passion in my next position. I am open to a variety of possibilities.
