MAELC is a 16-member legislative council that provides leadership to promote and expand agricultural education in Minnesota. The state legislature, agricultural educators, and agriculture industry leaders are all represented on the council.As Program Assistant, I manage grant and scholarship programs that have state-wide impact, serve as a liaison to legislators, state agencies, educators, and various other agricultural organizations, develop content and manage the distribution of website, social media accounts, bi-annual AgEd Advocate newsletter, and monthly e-newsletter and organize events to promote and expand agricultural education.
