I implemented a redesign of a status page behind the Survey Monkey paywall and helped transition the page from a Jinja template to React. The project required that I also work within their current React framework which I modified to support additional pages.

I helped to found WiCS at Portland State University which focuses on creating environments and events that traditionally disenfranchised communities can feel welcome in. We put on regular events and my work involves me getting funding, reaching out to community technology leaders and acting as a go-between with students and the Computer Science department at the school. I also oversee a small team of leaders who help implement our initiatives and programs.

I built REST APIs and back-end portions of custom web applications in Java and Go. However, my responsibilities reached to direct customer interaction and support as well as maintenance of our core products.

I proctored practical coding exams for students in the lower-division computer science program. This included high school students who where taking the classes for college credit.

I tutored students in lower-division coursework including object-oriented programming, discrete structures and predicate calculus.
