Over the first eighteen years of my life, I experienced nearly a dozen schools and neighborhoods. I developed the mindset to adapt to change, the skills to be resourceful, and the courage to travel beyond my comfort zone. I am thankful for the village of people who have influenced who I am today, across healthcare, entrepreneurship, public policy, and public service. As a medical student, I look forward to merging interests in cognitive science and emerging technologies for impact.I graduated from Cambridge University with a Master of Public Policy (MPP) and from the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in cognitive science. Inspired by a patient with Locked-in Syndrome, I developed OutLoud, a groundbreaking communication board that empowers patients to express themselves through emojis and Brain-Computer Interface. I presented my research and perspectives at the United Nations in Geneva, as the youngest main-stage speaker at the AI for Good Global Summit. Through technology policy and healthcare innovation, I am dedicated to shaping healthcare and ethical AI with the core values of empathy and compassion.
