I have First Class Honours BSc Biomedical Science degree. I undertook a placement year in the Histology department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary during my third year at university. As a Biomedical Science student, I received an opportunity out of many students to gain experience and an understanding of the role of a biomedical scientist. Additionally, I achieved the prerequisite level of competence to legally practice by completing a portfolio of evidence as part of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.I am very hardworking and a responsible individual. Being a group leader in my Duke of Edinburgh team helped me gain leadership, teamwork and confidence skills. I can work well in both a team and also as an individual. Ability to work under pressure, strong time-management and problem-solving skills have also been developed. I also have good I.T skills in different software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.Dancer, trekker, mountaineer and professional scuba diver. I always try pushing myself to the limit to test myself both physically and mentally. I have participated in the President's Award Scheme which is equivalent to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and was awarded with a gold level Certificate by the President of Kenya.
