Navigating complex systems with radical honesty and advocacy for youth and families in mind, she Spearheads initiatives where every person’s value is honored and seen & makes a seat at the table for all No matter their title, age, or rank. She operates from the belief that everyone has an imperative part to play In the issues we find ourselves facing today. She seeks to create spaces where ground is gained & stories honored, believing this work is imperative because solutions to injustice lie in perspectives yet to be heard. Karissa intentionally sits in spaces to advocate for mental health support for individuals and families and prevention efforts in our most vulnerable communities to advance towards societal change.
