Accountable for analyzing current and past financial data for each department, and preparing pivot table reports based on this analysis. I work closely with Diana Petfood's Business Partner and each department's manager to inform them of their spend. This role includes:- working closely with accounts receivable to reconcile sales and report this to the Director of Finance- reviewing spend and production data with the operations crew prior to finalizing numbers- analyzing freight in/freight out costs - evaluating current capital expenditures and communicating this to our team in France- posting journal entries in our ERP system- review the trial balance prior to month end closingIn my current role with Diana Petfood I have gained proficient experience with excel (creating pivot tables, use of formulas, etc.) as a means of communicating data.

As a peer counselor, I assisted students and parents with the Financial Aid process. This process included filing the FAFSA application for the particular year the student plans to attend Lander. If the student is selected for verification, there are forms students must complete to satisfy these requirements so they may receive financial aid. Assistance with work-study, student loans, and scholarships (merit based, outside, departmental) as well. Participation in Bearcat For A Day, Open House, College Night, and Freshman Orientation. From this position I have gained skills in/improved on customer service, communication in person and writing, confidentiality, team building, and time management.We also worked with a system called BANNER to insert everything and anything for each student from their general information to whom their loan provider is.
