* Serve as company’s information security officer, directly responsible for all operations as they pertain to information and physical security.* Responsible for building department from ground-up. Create and implement security policies and procedures. Evaluate and approve purchase of security tools, including firewalls, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing engines, single sign-on devices, etc. Perform risk assessment and create compliance checklists for clients requiring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, PCI, GLBA, as well as numerous local, state, and federal requirements. Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures among employees, contractors, alliances, and other third-parties and refer problems to appropriate department managers and administrators.

Audit information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards and industry best practices for efficiency, accuracy and security. Evaluate IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establish controls to mitigate loss.
