With over 23 years of experience in the military and the security sector, I have developed a strong set of skills and competencies that enable me to work effectively in hostile and high-risk situations. As a Prison Officer at HMPPS Wymott, I applied my physical security and security management knowledge to ensure the safety and security of prisoners, staff, and visitors, as well as the smooth operation of the prison. I also used my communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with prisoners, colleagues, and external agencies, and to handle conflict and crisis professionally and respectfully.Prior to that, I served as a Infantry Cpl for 10 Years then joined the Royal Corp of Signals as a Communications Systems Operator Sergeant in the British Army for 12 years, where I gained national security expertise and leadership experience. I was responsible for managing communications systems, equipment, and personnel, as well as leading infantry sections and multiples in hostile and high risk operations and exercises. I have a passion for learning and progressing myself and my career, and I have completed several courses and qualifications in Control and Restraint (C&R), Rigid Bar Handcuffing, Executive Close Protection in the security industry, HECPO,First Response Emergency Care (FREC), and Military Weapons/SAA Instruction. I am looking for a new opportunity in the Close Protection world where I can leverage my security and leadership skills to make a positive impact.
