In 2016 I was asked by the VP of GE Aviation’s BGA&IS Business (Brad Mottier) to leave my current role (overnight) and was parachuted into a very high profile issue, which had the potential to hold up the Flight Certification and EIS (Entry Into Service) of the Boeing B777X.

In 2010 I was approached by GE Aviation to join them and be responsible for the P&L of the F-35 Aftermarket Business and Customer Relationship. Over 5yrs I built an aftermarket business for GE on the F-35 aircraft. I planned, negotiated and established 4 Global Repairs Facilities and built a team to support the EIS. In addition to being PM of a team in Cheltenham I managed a European Repair Facility and a Battery Repair Facility in Long Island (both of which I setup).

I then moved into Operations for another 2yrs, before returning to Customer Services for the last 3yrs as a PSM (Product Support Manager).I left SAFRAN after 9yrs, leaving a role I loved, managing a team providing Technical & Commercial Support to a fleet of over 2,000 aircraft.
