Alongside my development as an educator and educational leader, I have been a professional guitarist and singer for over 30 years.In that time, I have recorded, gigged and toured with artists including, Clannad, Sinead O'Connor, Andrea Bocelli, Westlife, The Sugababes, Enrique Iglesias, Katie Melua, Leanne Rhymes, Rodney Crowell, Andrea Corr, Sharon Shannon/Steve Earle, Deacon Blue, Johnny Logan and Gavin Friday.I also work with the RTE National Concert and Symphony Orchestras, The Irish Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra on a regular basis, for live performance and TV recording sessions. Since 2021 I have been performing live with internationally renowned conductrix Eimear Noone in support of her orchestral touring show ‘Electric Arcade’.I have worked extensively as a ‘pit’ orchestra musician for school and musical society shows throughout Ireland, often acting as a mentor for youth orchestra members in that context.
