Accountabilities included:• Overseeing the delivery and development of all Music Theory modules offered at BIMM, Dublin.• Staffing and timetabling of all Music Theory modules, including the sourcing of appropriate 'dep' lecturers where necessary.• Ensuring student educational and pastoral well-being.• In 2016 I co-authored the BIMM Undergraduate Music theory and Musicianship course-book, which is the current coursebook for all BIMM colleges.

Accountabilities Included:•Leading on the development, delivery, review and enhancement of the BA (Hons) Commercial Modern Music curriculum.• Overseeing the production and review of all course materials.• Drafting of the annual monitoring report for approval by the Head of Education.• Ensuring the effective and timely implementation of the annual college Learning/Teaching enhancement action plan.• Recruitment and professional development of course lecturing staff.• Creation of teaching timetables in conjunction with the Head of Education and Academic Coordinator.

Alongside my development as an educator and educational leader, I have been a professional guitarist and singer for over 30 years.In that time, I have recorded, gigged and toured with artists including, Clannad, Sinead O'Connor, Andrea Bocelli, Westlife, The Sugababes, Enrique Iglesias, Katie Melua, Leanne Rhymes, Rodney Crowell, Andrea Corr, Sharon Shannon/Steve Earle, Deacon Blue, Johnny Logan and Gavin Friday.I also work with the RTE National Concert and Symphony Orchestras, The Irish Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra on a regular basis, for live performance and TV recording sessions. Since 2021 I have been performing live with internationally renowned conductrix Eimear Noone in support of her orchestral touring show ‘Electric Arcade’.I have worked extensively as a ‘pit’ orchestra musician for school and musical society shows throughout Ireland, often acting as a mentor for youth orchestra members in that context.
