This role is responsible for the oversight in leading the CityJet Engineering & Maintenance Departments,development, and delivery of project tasks by ensuring the management of scope, budget, and quality controlof the engineering maintenance department and aligned with the business strategy. The Director of Engineeringand Maintenance holds responsibility for Continuous Airworthiness and Serviceability of the Fleet and ensuresexcellence in operating performance through airworthiness, serviceability, reliability, delivery and robustrelationships with departments and stakeholders.

Manage Continuing Airworthiness of RJ85 fleet & SSJ fleet, including -Liaising with Type Certificate Holder and Manufacturers-Issuing and controlling Maintenance Instructions relating to Continuing Airworthiness of RJ85 fleet & SSJ Fleet-Controlling and monitoring Regulatory requirements-Liaising with stake holders to ensure Continued Airworthiness of fleet while meeting commercial obligations

As part of the Technical Services Team, I manage the ongoing maintenance and Part M Structural & Systems & Avionics issues of the Cityjet fleet. As part of this role I review and assess technical publications such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, All Operator Messages, Service Information Leaflets for implementation across the fleet. Issue and control the necessary inspections to ensure Continuing Airworthiness of the fleet. Liase with third parties including aircraft manufacturers, Maintenance and Repair Organisations, National and European Airworthiness Authorities, Suppliers and Customers to ensure all requirements are met and exceeded in an efficient transparent manner. Liaise with leasors to ensure aircraft hand back conditions at end of lease are fully complied with thus avoiding liabilities on the organisation.

As part of the Technical Training Team, I have assisted in the development, delivery and assessment of aircraft Type Training Courses for internal and external customers. As part of this role, I developed training materials and aids including assessment material in compliance with the stringent regulatory requirements of EASA Part 147 & Part 66 respectively. I have carried out theoretical and practical training and assessment of candidates to meet and exceed these requirements.

Supervising of a group of up to 13 professional Aircraft Engineers in the maintenance of up to 7 aircraft at a time. My roles included managing the different skill sets of the team to maximise our efficiency in delivering a high standard of maintenance while meeting the flight schedule. Additional roles included liaising with Service Providers and Third Parties to ensure the efficient operation of the maintenance system. Additional roles included performance managing the members of the team to maximise their potential through setting of goals and providing positive and constructive feedback to team members. I also carried out hands on maintenance of the aircraft with my team.

Fully Licensed B1, B2 and C licensed aircraft engineer with Type ratings on BAE146/RJ85, Boeing 737-800

As part of a team of licensed and unlicensed engineers I carried out maintenance and repairs of the company fleet of aircraft. In carrying out this maintenance I ensured compliance with EASA Part 145 and company procedures and Health and Safety Legislation.

Part-Time Lecturer with DIT Bolton Street on the BEng Tech Degree course in Aviation Technology. Involving preparation of class work, explanatory material, and delivery of this to classes of up to 50 students. Lectures vary from 4 hours to 3 hours. Also includes preparation of assignment briefs, exams, grading of assignments and exams and providing constructive feedback to students to enable them achieve their maximum potential. Also provide constructive feedback to Department head on the course.

As a certifying Outstation Engineer. I had responsibility for up to 4 Boeing 737-800 aircraft based in Bergamo Italy. My roles included planning and carrying out the necessary maintenance of these aircraft to ensure delivery of serviceable, high quality aircraft to meet the airlines busy flight schedule. In order to achieve this I was required to liaise and communicate with several local third parties that were not adept in the English language including handling agents, security personnel, airport authorities and suppliers. I was also responsible for the control and stocking of the Maintenance Stores facility on site, ensuring stringent control and stocking of aircraft spares to enable delivery of a high quality end produce to the customers both internal and external.
