Working in a multi site school environment, managing network resources on and off site for all end users including children and staff. Constantly reviewing efficiency of organisational systems and comparing performance/cost to new emerging systems within the IT sector. Internal systems within the organisation include the VoIP telephone system, Hyper V, Veeam backup, Office 365, HP Switches, Sophos firewall, Sage Education, Bromcom MIS, and Sage Payroll. Working closely with the finance director and CEO when developing new systems and projects.Due diligence on holistic hardware/software of the organisation leading to installation of new systems and procedures. To minimise disruption, ensure a high level of security and keep up to date changing demands. Oversee the CPD of other members of the ICT team, regularly monitoring their workload and performance.

Supporting a small school of roughly 100 users and 80 computers. Initially working with 1 server running 2003 I installed a new 2012 r2 server with 4 virtual servers on a hyper-v platform.
