I was responsible for the South Australian operations of ADT Security which is the largest Electronic Security company in the world. I am very much in a hands on position responsible for development and growth of the branch within 24 months from revenues of 16 Million AUD last calendar year. My personal sales within that period exceeded $1.5 Million AUD. A key focus is the mining sector and we have a number of operations in regional SA that I have been developing. This included the creation of a regional base at Roxby Downs and project management of $1 Million plus projects at the mine site. I was the Sales Manager for Service Department responsible for selling Minor Works projects, Maintenance Services within SA

Since August 2006 I had developed a Security Contracting business. Providing services to a number of high profile sites in the Adelaide marketplace.Services Offered:• Alarm System Service, Install of all major brands of equipment including Tecom, Concept, NX Panels.• CCTV Installation, Repair of all major brands of Camera equipment and DVR recording technologies.• Public Address System installation within the major retail market• Access Control Installations.

I accepted a transfer to Chubb Electronics Adelaide as the Commercial Service Manager. The Service Department is a $12 Million business unit comprising of 20+ technicians, 12 administration staff, and 3 Customer Service Representatives. Key Responsibilities • Management of sales strategy’s and retention programs with Customer Service Representatives. Includes providing direction of installation practices and equipment being deployed. • Cost analysis of Sub Contractor labor versus In House staffing for Do and Charge and Minor Works. Subsequent employment of 3 extra In House technicians.• Development of Technician Productivity KPI’s. Existing measurement tools did not provide sufficient visibility of individual technician performance. • Technician Performance review with specific criteria to reduce administration time, idle time, and reductions in non-chargeable service calls.• Direct management of all service department functions including Minor Works, Do & Charge, Preventative Maintenance and Fully Comprehensive service customers.• Live Dispatching – Implementation of a call by call dispatching system to ensure technician efficiency levels are improved and customer service levels are maximized.• Direct negotiation with clients for major systems implementations and contracts.• Fully Comp customer rate reviews – Current comprehensive contracts being reviewed for a cost analysis and renegotiation parameters.• Cancellation retention programs, minimizing attrition rate from 1% per month to .07% per month.• Business improvement strategy to increase Preventative Maintenance customer base from the existing 42% ratio to 60% within 3 months.• Incident Liability claims investigation approval for Break and Enters and customer loss claims.• Restructuring of Darwin operations to enable head count reduction and consolidation of services into the South Australian operations.• Preparation of Business Unit budgets and forecasts.

In 2001 Chubb Security undertook an acquisitions program in South Korea. 27 Korean Electronic Security companies were acquired and I was directly responsible for the implementation of the Chubb Korea infrastructure IT systems, acquisition integration, staff training and operational procedures for the monitoring operations.Key Responsibilities• Acquisition integration of 33,000 monitoring customers onto Chubb Alarm Monitoring and Billing systems – MSSQL based DB.• Management of Data Entry staff to achieve acquisition timelines and cut over dates.• Project Management of IT infrastructure roll out. Including Windows 2000 Distributed Server environment, remote client access.• Korean Alarm Panel integration with Mastermind Systems and Surguard receivers.• Day to day administration of SQL Server farm, backups, query writing and crystal report design and creation.• Design, specification and project management of national Frame Relay network (WAN).• Roll out of PBX/Call Centre equipment (Avaya).• Korean translation software/hardware integration with English systems.• Operational Procedures training for Alarm Monitoring Centre operators, technicians, and field staff.• Recruitment and training of Korean local technical staff• Preparation of capital expenditure requests and other required reports to Australian headquarters.

I was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Alarm Monitoring Centre in Auckland for the Chubb Security NZ customer base. The systems included:-Unix Admin-Maintenance of the control room-Testing Alarm panels-Fault rectification

Answer Services NZ LTD had Alarm Monitoring, Telephone Answering and a national paging network. The Alarm Monitoring operations were acquired by Chubb NZ in 1999. Key responsibilities:• Support for all call centre operations, Telephone Answering and Alarm Monitoring centers.• Systems supported – Unix, Novell LAN, and proprietary equipment.• End User Support.• Management of Call Distribution systems and call volume management.• Technical support of the nationwide paging network. Planning of transmitter locations and radio network troubleshooting.• On Call duties.
