C-Tech also produces custom-built carbon fiber tube & components used across a broad range of applications & industries.As Finance Controller my role is to maintain the integrity of the company's financial systems & processes. I have helped to improve the process of collecting manufacturing costs, improve the accuracy & relevance of job costs to assist with setting product selling prices.When I joined it was crucial to understand the workings of the Syteline ERP software. I am now responsibile for implementing Shop Floor Job tracking software, integrated with the ERP system to efficiently & accurately capture shop floor transactions.Ensuring the accurate running of the ERP sotware is critical for our Supply Chain Management process. Our carbon fibre purchases & component supplies are sourced from overseas manufacturers. Given the shipping delays experienced worldwide it is crucial to manage our supply chain. 85% of our manufactured product is shipped/airfreighted to overseas customers.The company is busy setting up a storage & manufacturing facility in Spain for the 2024 Americas Cup & I am involved in the planning and implementation of this new venture. This gives me exposure to financial reporting in EU coutries & consolidating financial results in New Zeland.I am responsibile for motivating & encouranging my Finance team to be the best they can be. The team combines to prepare internal financial reporting and manufacturing anlaysis & all IRD statutory filing & reporting.As a member of the Senior Management Team providing the Shareholders & Directors with Financial & Business analysis support, I developed a budgeting & cash flow reporting model for the company improving on the previous annual budget determined from historical sales performance.I am a NZ resident since May 2021.

I planned & implemented the entire opening of the Jhb warehouse & showroom in 2011. This involved moving R5mill worth of stock into the warehouse, developing & implementing all systems & business processes for the successful running & control of the business; including:- staff- stock- invoicing & collections- dealing with all contractors & landlords- marketing & customer liaison- supply chain management & logisticsI employed 10 staff & turnover was on average R1.5mill a month. The warehouse offered our customer base easy & quick access to our entire product range of some 250 individual product items. We also processed orders for custom made garments for corporate entities & sport teams.

Started at the company in the logistics & distribution side of the business, setting internal systems & controls around the order processing procedures & then following this through to the finished stores where orders were picked & packed & dispatched to customers.Spent 4 seasons running & managing the sublimation production department, which produces over 7,000 sets of rugby jerseys & shorts per season.Mid-way through 2008 was promoted to Sales Manager for the company. Continued to manage the internal sales & logistics but had added responsibility of been on the road to visit & service our customer base, as well as promote our products to new customers

Was asked to join previous employee to assist as Finance Manager at Colibri Towels.Managed the full finance function, which included Foreign transactions buying cotton, running management accounts for a full back-ward integrated manufacturing facility.We bought cotton in bale form, which was carded & then spun into yarn. The yarn then dyed & used to weave towels, face-clothes, terry towelling, nappies etc.Moved to Time Clothing from here.
