There are many ways to fail, and I've discovered many of them the hard way.I've led engineering teams of various shapes and sizes (developers, data engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, devopses) in different setups and from different cultures along with managing applied research projects and outsourced science teams from research institutions.AI can do so much more than generate human-like content. Systems don't become AI by making an API call to an AI-as-a-service. Data solutions are so much more than choosing the right database.I design and build solutions which embrace observability, cost-efficiency, and modularity, are possible to maintain and support (supportability can't be taken for granted in black-box AI systems), and most of all - which actually solve the right problems.I build teams that are passionate and hungry and feel like they are building something bigger than themselves, not just laying bricks.
