From as long as I can remember I loved drawing cartoons. It was all I ever wanted to do growing up and I even applied for a job with The Beano when I left school. Unfortunately, comics were going out of date during the late 80's but the editor at the time, Euan Kerr, wrote back to me, offering support and advice for the future.I studied at Walsall college, obtaining a HND, then to Wolverhampton University to get my Degree in computer animation. My first real design job was creating graphics for fruit machines as well as drawing and animating cartoons for touch-screen pub games. This lasted for two years and still remains the best job I've ever had.Wanting to be part of a more sturdy industry, I joined Beeswift in June 2004. Here I've met some lifelong friends and had the pleasure of working with some great people.On a personal level, I enjoy my life very much and try not to take things too seriously, unless absolutely necessary.At work I like to make my colleagues laugh and have fun when appropriate. I would consider myself a popular member of the office and will always make time to talk with people.As a mental health first aider, I find other people's life experiences truly fascinating, giving me an introspective view of myself as well.
