I have just completed a degree in BA Geography at Bristol UWE attaining an Upper Second-Class overall and a First-Class in my dissertation, and I am now keen to get stuck into the world of work. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent learning at university, and Bristol was a great contrast from my home in rural Somerset. I aim to continue my professional career in a city like this.During my degree I gained a placement working at Summer Lodge Hotel and Spa, one of the stunning properties owned by the Red Carnation Hotels Collection. Operating in this successful company has enabled me to witness different leadership styles and experience corporate culture. Prior to this, I worked as head waiter during school holiday periods which provided me with plenty of experience in high stress situations, creative problem solving, leadership and customer satisfaction.On a personal level, I have always had a passion for all things tech for as long as I can remember. When I was little, I would ask my parents for an issue of Wired magazine when they went grocery shopping, nowadays news articles and social media keep me updated on all the latest news and technology advancements. Additionally, I love sport and have participated, captained, and won several team events and gone on to represent my county at a national level.
