Ordering and assuring proper acquisition of all the supplies for Classrooms, and Custodial stock. This position also participates in the cleaning process, as well as the general maintenance of the landscape throughout the Campus. Also cleans self assigned area on a rotational and daily work schedule. Coordinate with outside organizations for the use of the facility and the proper coverage of any function that may take place on a specific day and time. This takes a strong Public Relations technique for an overall positive experience. Persons in this position must be able to possess exemplary knowledge in the Custodial field, and be able to train other Staff in the proper safe practice of all cleaning techniques and Chemical handling. Anyone in his position must possess expertise in the use of all the various hand/power, tools and cleaning equipment, and be apt to train other Staff members in the safe practice and use of all said equipment.This position is solely responsible (at the specific site), for the Training and Coaching of Safe practice in 'First Response'​ cleaning techniques, and the proper use of PPE's to establish 'Universal Precautions' is paramount to worker safety, thus controlling health risk factors. All Safety education and implementation of Safety lock-down procedures (at their specific Site) are solely the responsibility of this position, even if negligence was evidenced from other individuals or sources. The public representation of the Site Curb appeal are solely the responsibility of the person holding this position, even if the duties have been delegated through other Crew members. Optimum curb appeal is placated through coordinated scheduled maintenance, and work orders are issued to the Maintenance division within the School District for repair. Show less

This is a Daytime Custodian Position with a cleaning program designed by, and solely at the discretion of the Head Custodian. The position is typically responsible for the upkeep of the entire Campus exterior on a scheduled Maintenance program. this position is coupled with the added component of Public Swimming Pool Operations management.C.P.O. Certification is required for this position, and rudimentary knowledge of water chemistry, and math is a must.
