As Exploration Manager for Harmony Gold - South Kal Mines, New Celebration / Jubilee site I managed a team of Geologists to explore and test brownfields targets. A highlight was taking the Shirl Gold Deposit from discovery to production in less than one year to add a high grade open pit to the production profile. The role included work at the Mount Magnet operations in the Murchison and with the New Business Unit, appraising projects world wide.

The role with Mines and Resources Australia a subsidiary of COGEMA and subsequently AREVA, included all aspects of Gold exploration in various geological terrains throughout WA, from discovery to feasibility. Deposits discovered during the period include White Foil, and Frog's Leg, both have been successful gold mines in the Eastern Goldfields.
