Los Angeles Classical Music Inc. (LACM) is dedicated to uplifting Los Angeles’s prominent classical music performers by fostering performance careers and crafting novel concert programs through redefined listening experiences for the community. As the Showrunner's Assistant for Fellow Travelers, my primary responsibility was to support the showrunner and streamline their workload. One of my main duties was coordinating efforts between executives, which involved updating story grids, reformatting scripts, and maintaining our project database. Additionally, I managed the showrunner's schedule and assisted in the hiring process for key team members. This includes intake submissions and generating lists of potential candidates.To effectively carry out these tasks, I answer phones, take messages, and collect progress reports from multiple teams across different time zones. I use this information to prepare daily email updates, which serve as a communication tool and progress tracker for the various departments. By doing so, I help reduce confusion and ensure that everyone is on the same page.

In my role as a writer's room assistant, I provided support to the show's writing team and showrunner. Specifically, my primary responsibility was to attend pitch meetings to pitch on story and take detailed notes, which I would then compile into a guide for the writers to reference. This required acute listening skills and quality record-keeping of the team's discussions. Additionally, I played a key role in providing feedback and proofreading the writers' work. As the team transitioned from storyboarding to outlining, I worked closely with individual writers to help them transform their notes into episode outlines. Overall, my contributions were integral to the collaborative process of the writer's room.

As a development executive's personal assistant at Fremantle, I worked closely with a small development team dedicated to designing and pitching hour-long dramatic series to networks. One of my primary responsibilities was to assist in the development of TV IP. This would include: conducting research, taking meeting notes, reading scripts, and building pitch decks. As part of the pitching process, I created pitch decks and sourced visual aids for lookbooks. I also helped to construct story bibles, which provided a comprehensive overview of show concepts, characters, and story arcs.

As a Personal Assistant, I provided dedicated support to a writer/producer, ensuring the smooth operation of their professional and personal affairs. My responsibilities included managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative tasks to enhance their productivity and efficiency. Additionally, I assisted in research, proofreading, and other writing-related tasks. My role demanded a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a writer/producer's schedule and projects.

I have had the opportunity to work on various projects across the globe. During this time, I created seven short films spanning three continents - USA, India, and China. I founded a production company and collaborated on numerous shorts, features, and commercials. My role has encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including cinematography, editing, visual effects, sound recording, directing, writing, and producing. These experiences allowed me to develop a versatile and deep understanding of the filmmaking process.
