• Contribute to the design and development of new Workday applications based on identified business and functional requirements• Identify, understand and document the current state needs to provide functional expertise and knowledge of the existing business practices as well as reconciling those requirements to new system capabilities and scope• Provide assistance with ongoing maintenance and support on Workday and other HR systems including software installations, upgrades, compliance updates, program coding, maintenance, backing-up data and administering security/access protocols• Perform advanced Workday configuration, deployment and data maintenance, including security configuration and HRIS functionality review to ensure systems and applications are working efficiently and effectively• Contribute to implementations and/or updates of Workday and other HR Systems; execute periodic system changes• Define system requirements for new and/or updated functionality and configuration• Design and develop tools and technology needed for HR and business measures and metrics• Oversee and provide guidance on system testing of functionality on behalf of the business users and work with super-users to establish a comprehensive training and deployment plan• Lead the communication with Information Technology Department regarding integrations of Workday and other HR systems into all the HR-related processes and vendors• Contribute ideas and/or content to incorporate in HRIS policies and procedures• Partner with other internal departments, business units and senior management to ensure the effective implementation of HR technology policies• Collaborate as needed with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to ensure that human resources core services are delivered effectively and efficiently• Resolve escalated issues raised by junior staff• Provide training and guidance to junior staff
