Role/Duties- Managing the Cocoa Ooze website- Updating content on CMS to improve visibility online- Writing articles for Cocoa Ooze Blog- Evaluating analytics to measure success rate and target goals- Manage the workshop timetables- Manage e-commerce and ensure all orders are dispatched- Ensure all online enquiries are responded to- Work with web developer for website growth Graphic Design- Creation of all Graphic Design materials- Implementation of Graphic Design for Bespoke service offering- Concepts and design of packaging- Adverts/marketing materials/flyers/vouchers- Liaising with printers for all materials/quotesBrand Ambassador- Creation of brand toolkit- Pioneering the Cocoa Ooze brand to customers,colleagues, suppliers and partner organisationsEvents- Sourcing events which will benefit the Cocoa Ooze brand- Organising & attending events. Currently being the only in-house Graphic Designer at KCA Deutag, this position offers me great challenges. On a daily basis design requests come directly to me from not only my team in the Marketing & Communications department, but also from all other departments including our offices worldwide. This is great as I get to communicate with people from all over our company which enables me to learn a lot more about KCA Deutag. This also means it is important for me to manage the workload appropriately while meeting all deadlines.Design requirements range from the design and layout of the internal quarterly newsletter to working directly with the CEO to produce high end presentations that represent our company and must stand out next to potential competition. An example being at Offshore Europe 2013. Roles and duties:To support the delivery of internal and external marketing & communications activities to build, sustain and protect KCA Deutag’s global reputation.• Champion KCA Deutags brand, which has recently been refreshed, also ensure that the new brand guidelines and logo are being used correctly• Support the delivery of communications and marketing activities aimed at building, sustaining and protecting KCA Deutags corporate reputation in line with business objectives.• Promote KCA Deutags key messages throughout all internal and external channels • Design of corporate literature/collateral from initial conception through to print publication. Includes KCA Deutag staff magazine, adverts, posters, leaflets, newsletters, exhibition displays etc. across company departments including HSE, HR, operations, engineering, commercial etc.• Maintenance of the company website including updating through a content management system• Liaise with external clients on print and design projects ensuring quality control• Maintain Corporate Photographic Library and make readily available• Work within set budget lines

In the time I worked for Paradox and Rocket Print it became apparent that by working within the two industries combined, it expanded my knowledge vastly and has become a great advantage in my current role. The fast paced constant flow of design work for both digital and print became second nature, therefore meeting deadlines and managing projects has become a strength of mine.While working for Paradox and Rocket Print I learned that my passion lies within solving the design requirement and coming up with various solutions to pitch to clients. However, I also have strong capability in production of design to a high standard while embracing varied styles and resources. I needed to present to clients with the confidence to explain the solution and answer any questions. I also have the ability to prepare artwork to 'print ready' specification, dealing with printers and sourcing the best possible quality for the best possible price is something I am used to dealing with daily. I thrive on job completion and customer satisfaction.
