I serve as Technical Lead on Study specific database design / build activities and review designs for compliance/feasibility within the database system and consistency with any current standards and/or sponsor specifications. I meet with study teams on a regular basis during initial study setup to ensure effective communication and accuracy in design. I design and build databases within the timelines established by the team and indicated by the contract and coordinate the activities of other Technical staff that might assist in building studies to ensure all jobs are carried out and timelines are met. Once the study is setup and running I update annotations and production databases where required based on protocol amendments and other changes to trial designs within a reasonable time period.
