• Utilize advanced technology to manually segment and edit gray and white matter tissue of 46 infant brains, spanning from newborn to 1-year of age, resulting in the creation of 3D reconstructions of infant cortical surfaces.• Identify and draw functional regions of interest (ROI’s), contributing to the data analysis for the lab’s baby study on brain development across the first year of life.• Obtain the average BOLD (blood-oxygen-level-dependent) signal for ROI’s and run contrast maps in Freeview, contributing to the labs understanding of brain activity patterns.

• Organize and coordinate over 30 quarterly events, aimed at promoting the centers core values of resources, mentorship, advocacy, and community building for the First-Generation and/or Low-Income (FLI) student body.• Advocate for additional office resources, securing access to free hygiene and sanitary products. • Innovate and curate weekly newsletters that reach over 2,000 FLI students on upcoming community building events and valuable opportunities for personal and academic growth. • Create digestible infographics and flyers for upcoming events to enhance engagement and outreach efforts across the center’s social media platforms, newsletter, and mailing lists. • Developed and lead the 2023 Thrive Transition Program, a new weeklong pre-orientation program tailored to facilitate a cohort of 45 incoming first generation and/or low-income Stanford students in accessing essential campus resources.
